AYA by DK | Body Art, 005 Technique & Signature Prints

At AYA by DK, I have always treated the body as a canvas. Before becoming signature prints or fashion designs, many of my pieces begin as original artworks created through my 005 body art technique — a process rooted in movement, texture, and form.

The 005 technique allows me to explore the relationship between art and the human body in a raw and expressive way. These artworks are created without thinking about fabric or garments first. They exist as standalone art pieces, guided by instinct, motion, and visual rhythm. Over time, I select elements from these works and translate them into signature prints, preserving the DNA of the original art.

This process is central to how I work. It allows me to blur the boundaries between fine art and fashion, ensuring that each print carries meaning rather than decoration. Every design becomes an extension of the original artwork, not a separate product.

Recently, I expanded this creative language through collaborations with influencers, makeup artists, and other creatives, allowing the prints to live in new visual spaces. These collaborations highlight how the artwork adapts across disciplines — from body art and fashion to beauty, photography, and performance.

The evolution from body art to signature prints reflects the foundation of AYA by DK: art first, expression always, and fashion as a living extension of creativity.
