Queen Oria (Inspired by Oreo) Oria’s childhood was marked by the constant presence of factory trucks polluting her village’s once fertile lands. The fields where food grew have been taken over by factories that produce more plastic than sustenance. Yet, Oria saw art in the discarded Oreo wrappers and packaging that littered her streets. She created textured canvases with mixed media, layering these materials with acrylic paint and oil, and transforming her pain into something sweet. Her pieces reflect the duality of her life—dark and light, bitter and sweet—and her relentless spirit to turn every hardship into an opportunity for creation. Each painting available for purchase is a unique blend of art and storytelling. While these are printed copies of the artist's original work, each piece is elevated by the artist's personal touch. Dina Kabdolla will add her signature style to every order, incorporating elements such as resin, packaging, collected fashion pieces, glitter, and even carefully selected trash. Each painting will also feature hand-applied oil detailing, making it a one-of-a-kind artwork. All proceeds from Kabdolla's artwork directly support our family nonprofit, Hope Road, dedicated to empowering children and mothers from broken families in Africa and other underserved regions. By purchasing these unique art pieces, you’re not just acquiring art—you’re contributing to a mission of hope. Kabdolla’s vision is to use art as a vehicle for change, traveling to teach, inspire, and remind communities that creativity can ignite hope and transformation, even in the most challenging circumstances. Your support helps turn this vision into reality. Just as the girls in her artwork overcame challenges, so too can anyone who believes in the power of their dreams.
