This original mixed-media work features a hand-drawn couture illustration by Dina Kabdolla, dressed in a high-fashion silhouette crafted from authentic Oreo cookie wrappers. Each wrapper has been hand-cut, shaped, and layered, with select elements crumpled for texture and set into a field of shimmering silver glitter and metallic pigments. The interplay of deep Oreo blue and reflective silver evokes both boldness and fluid elegance.
The artwork’s border extends beyond the figure, incorporating actual recycled Oreo packaging — both flat and sculptural — creating a tactile, three-dimensional frame.
